Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Direction: Provide effective leadership and direction to the production area, ensuring compliance with schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Manufacturing Procedures: Oversee the development and implementation of manufacturing procedures that drive continuous improvement, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with Program Managers and other functional leaders to meet customer expectations, resolve production-related issues, and support company growth objectives.
  • Quality and Compliance: Ensure all orders are manufactured according to specifications and quality requirements, maintaining compliance with manufacturing cost standards.
  • Resource Optimization: Optimize resource utilization, initiate and monitor cost controls, and ensure proper staffing levels to meet production requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum of an Associate's Degree (Bachelor's in Science/Engineering preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years' leadership experience in manufacturing and/or military environments.
  • Certifications and Skills: IPC certification and fiber optics assembly experience preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving, multitasking, and communication abilities. Strong attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
