We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Clinician to join our Acute Care team at Emory Healthcare. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to the development of our clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Direct Patient Care: Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centered care.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Lead and Mentor Colleagues: Serve as a resource and mentor to less experienced nurses, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Participate in Quality Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives, ensuring that our clinical practice is evidence-based and patient-centered.
- Develop and Maintain Clinical Expertise: Stay current with the latest clinical research and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes and advance our clinical practice.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Experience: 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program.
- Licensure: Must have a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
- Certifications: BLS certification required and ACLS may be required in designated departments.
