Job Title: Medical Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Northtowns Ambulatory Surgery Center, LLC. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized patient care, including greeting patients, providing comfort, and maintaining their right to privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
  • Assist with the preparation of patients for procedures, including weighing patients, stocking supplies, and reporting results to registered nurses.
  • Monitor physical symptoms and behavioral changes, reporting concerns to registered nurses.
  • Assist patients with nourishments, dressing, and mobility as needed.
  • Clean equipment and maintain a safe environment according to manufacturer's recommendations and center policies.
  • Perform clerical tasks and assist with supply management as needed.

Education and Experience:
  • Graduate of a medical technology or medical assistant program is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a physician's office or healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Able to speak, read, and write in English.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year based on experience and location.
