Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team at the Pasco County School District. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of craft trade activities with a focus on Masonry under general supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Perform highly diversified craft trade activities with a focus on Masonry.
  • Work on concrete installation and repairs.
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and meets the district's quality expectations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or Vocational Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Two years' experience in a skilled trade or general building maintenance.
  • OR any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position.
Additional Requirements
  • Maintain a driving record that meets the standards of the District Safe Driver Plan.
  • Pass the pre-employment drug screening according to the Federal Omnibus Transportation Employees Testing Act (OTETA).
  • Submit to and pass an initial drug test and subsequent random drug tests in accordance with the requirements of Florida Statute and the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.
