About the Role:

As a Senior Automation Test Engineer, you will be responsible for performing automation testing, functional testing, and understanding requirements/data mapping. You will identify test cases from requirements, perform test strategy and planning, prepare test data, and validate transformation and data loading functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automation test scripts using Tosca or Cypress automation test tools.
  • Perform functional testing to ensure software applications meet requirements.
  • Understand business requirements and data mapping to identify test cases.
  • Develop and maintain test data to support automation testing.
  • Validate transformation and data loading functionality to ensure data integrity.
  • Prepare and maintain test documentation to ensure transparency and accountability.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of work experience in the United States.
  • Able to be employed as a W2 by TechnoSmarts, Inc.
  • 8-10+ years of experience with functional testing.
  • Experience with test automation using Tosca or Cypress automation test tools.
  • Strong SQL query skills, including proficiency with SQL statements such as Select, Update, and Insert.
  • Proficient with joins (Inner/Outer) and querying aggregates.
  • Experience with test management tools such as QTest.
  • Experience with JIRA.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with testing within an Agile framework.
  • Experience with testing/writing AWS Snowflake SQL.
