Shipboard Recruiter

Lindblad Expeditions is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Shipboard Recruiter to join our team. As a Shipboard Recruiter, you will play a vital role in recruiting and staffing for our US Fleet, ensuring smooth crew transitions and maintaining a strong workforce on board.

• Partner with hiring managers to understand the skills and requirements needed for different roles and help create clear job descriptions.
• Collaborate with Shipboard HR to ensure the vessels always have the necessary crew.
• Manage applications, conduct interviews, and oversee background checks.
• Prepare job offers and coordinate training plans for new hires.
• Develop and maintain various recruitment channels, including professional networks, maritime academies, hospitality schools, and culinary institutes.
• Innovate recruitment strategies to attract skilled and high-performing officers and crew for the company's vessels.

• 2+ years of recruiting experience or 2+ years of personnel-related experience in maritime operations.
• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite and a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.
• Ability to work autonomously and problem solve with little data while remaining in close communication with your team.
• Skilled at identifying staffing issues, analyzing problems, and developing effective solutions to optimize recruitment processes.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences and team members.
