We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Clinical Team at Lifespace Communities. As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, while also leading and mentoring our clinical team members.
Key Responsibilities- Direct Nursing Services: Provide hands-on nursing care to residents on assigned neighborhoods or programs.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Supervise and provide leadership to clinical and non-clinical team members, while also providing on-the-job training and skill set retraining as assigned.
- Medication Administration: Oversee physician orders, verify accuracy of orders, and administer medications and treatments according to orders.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Participate with the interdisciplinary team to review, plan, coordinate, and evaluate resident care.
- Documentation and Communication: Document resident conditions and nursing needs accurately and in a timely manner, and report pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents.
- Certifications and Licensure: Registered Nurse license and other licensure required by state regulations.
- Experience: One year of nursing experience in a long-term facility is preferred.
