Union General Hospital seeks a skilled RN Supervisor to oversee the delivery of patient care on our day shift. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for making staff assignments, providing guidance and direction to personnel, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver patient care that promotes safety and well-being
- Make staff assignments as directed
- Provide guidance and direction to personnel
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs
- Assist in coordinating the operation of a shift on the nursing unit
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Associate Degree in Nursing minimum
- Registration and licensure by the State of Georgia
- Certification in CPR (within 60 days of hire) and ACLS (and PALS if Charge Nurse)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under stress
This role requires:
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication
- Ability to work at a personal computer
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift, push, bend, and move patients
