ASL Transliteration Specialist

As an ASL Transliteration Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless communication between faculty members and students at Johns Hopkins University. We are looking for a highly skilled individual with experience in interpreting in a rigorous academic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transliterating for on-demand and regularly scheduled meetings, talks, classes, and other functions.
- Scheduling and coordinating appointments with faculty members and students.
- Maintaining HR-related records on staff interpreters and facilitating access to university services.
Requirements:
- Four years of related interpreting experience, preferably in post-secondary settings.
- American Sign Language (ASL) and English fluency.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $125,000 per year.
