Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate occupational therapist to join our team at Amedisys. As an occupational therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in their homes, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized plans of care.
Responsibilities- Deliver occupational therapy services to patients in their homes, addressing their unique needs and goals.
- Collaborate with our team to develop and implement plans of care that promote patient independence and well-being.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Supervise home health aides as needed and ensure the safety and effectiveness of our services.
- Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state where you will be working.
- Graduate of an occupational therapy program accredited by ACOTE or successor organizations.
- Eligible to take or has successfully completed the NBCOT certification examination.
- One year of related occupational therapy experience or approval from regional clinical leaders for less than one year of experience.
- Current CPR certification.
