We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Interventional Care Unit (ICU) team at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. As a valued member of our healthcare family, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
**About the Role:**
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated RN to provide direct patient care on a critical care step-down level, working with cardiac, vascular, and procedural patients with complex lines, drains, and airways. You will be responsible for monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions as appropriate using computerized documentation systems.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement individualized care plans that meet each patient's unique needs
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and lab results, reporting any changes or concerns to the physician or supervisor
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care coordination
- Instruct and educate patients and their families on disease management, medication regimens, and post-discharge care
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) License in NH or valid Compact State License
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross)
- Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia within 3 months from hire
- PCCN Certification (preferred)
- TNCC Certification (preferred)
- TCAR Certification (preferred)
**What We Offer:**
We offer a competitive salary range of $$120,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits such as comprehensive medical coverage, retirement savings plan, and professional development opportunities.
