Grinding Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently eliminate excess material from detailed and complex castings utilizing specialized grinding equipment.
  • Interpret technical documentation to uphold surface finishes, contours, and precise dimensions of castings.
  • Ensure the maintenance of critical casting dimensions throughout the grinding process.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of abrasive wheel replacement procedures and their application.

Sandblasting Duties:

  • Adjust air pressure for optimal abrasive mixture to effectively remove excess material and achieve a polished surface.
  • Clean intricate surfaces of castings while preserving their dimensional integrity.
  • Maintain all necessary contours of castings, ensuring surfaces are free from debris.

General Responsibilities:

  • Operate hoisting equipment safely and effectively.
  • Read and comprehend master sheets for operational guidance.
  • Utilize basic arithmetic skills for task execution.
  • Collaborate safely within a team environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisory personnel.
