Facilities Maintenance Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Clasen Quality Chocolate in Milton, WI. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for leading efforts to achieve the lowest overall cost of maintenance MRO through controlling and managing spare parts and maintenance supply inventories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain spare parts inventory, including setting up and entering new parts into Computer Maintenance Management System, conducting routine audits of inventory levels and compliance, establishing and maintaining proper minimum and maximum levels, and ensuring that parts are adequately stocked.
  • Complete ownership of parts storage areas, working with all departments to ensure that maintenance areas stay clean and organized, monitoring areas frequently for prompt attention to new shipments, and holding vendors accountable on product quality and delivery terms.
  • Develop and assemble parts kits for common PMs and rebuilds to help streamline the maintenance execution process, train others on proper utilization of inventory management/CMMS, and ensure that proper procedures are being followed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required; two-year maintenance-related degree preferred.
  • Previous maintenance or mechanical experience required, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • Advanced knowledge of how to operate a PC, including CMMS, ERP/Purchasing Software, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, ability to perform math at an advanced level, drafting experience helpful, and good driving record with a valid driver's license.
