Job Title: Construction/Manufacturing Safety Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced safety professional to support our operations in the Greensboro/High Point, NC area. This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with OSHA guidelines, customer and company safety policies, and supporting administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily job hazard analysis and review with team.
  • Walk site (to include roofs) and evaluate environment and employees for OSHA compliance and risk.
  • Immediately correct risks.
  • Communicate with site foreman and EHS Manager regularly.
  • Complete site assessment forms and forward to EHS Manager.
  • Conduct weekly tool box meetings.
  • Perform AED & fire extinguisher inspections.
  • Attend regular department meetings.
  • Lead incident investigations and assist with injury reports.
  • Review and inspect confined space and crane lifts.
Requirements:
  • 2 years' experience in field construction safety industry.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Ability to take detailed instruction.
  • Positive "can do" attitude, strong work ethic, and a team player.
  • Good problem-solving abilities, communication skills, aptitude, and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Flexible working schedule to support project needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • OSHA 510 certification.
  • OSHA 500 certification.
