Correctional Training Facility
Position Overview:
The Lead Correctional Culinary Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the planning, organization, and management of food preparation, cooking, distribution, and serving for residents within the correctional facility. This role includes supervising the upkeep of culinary equipment, inventory, and workspaces, while also providing guidance, training, and assignments to staff and inmates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the culinary operations within the facility.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food service.
- Train and lead staff and inmates in food preparation and service protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in food service areas.
- Manage inventory and supplies for the kitchen.
Qualifications:
Candidates must meet the minimum qualifications as outlined in the Class Specification. Experience in a culinary supervisory role within a correctional or institutional setting is preferred.
