Program: South Shore Healthy Families Programs

Work Schedule: Full-time (flexible hours necessary)

Compensation: $27.10 per hour plus benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver home visiting and parent education services to eligible adolescent parents.
  • Engage in group support initiatives.
  • Act as a role model, providing support and encouragement to parents and their families.
  • Document, track, and maintain participant data as required.
  • Participate in all site evaluations.
  • Conduct community outreach to enhance families' access to essential services.
  • Distribute materials emphasizing the significance of early prenatal care and parenting education.
  • Partake in on-the-job training covering infant care, nutrition, parenting skills, childbirth education, and child development.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Director/Supervisor.

Essential Qualifications:

A high school diploma with three to five years of experience in early childhood education, or a bachelor's degree in social work, early childhood education, human services, or a related field with one to three years of early childhood experience. Travel is required. Familiarity with community resources is advantageous. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential. Flexibility in scheduling is a must.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Brazilian Portuguese is preferred.
