Job Description

At ADM, we are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team at the Indianola Plant. As a key member of our production team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues to improve and optimize our processes.

Job Summary:

The Indianola Plant produces soy protein ingredients for human and animal consumption, as well as soy-free lines producing legumes and beans. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying improvement opportunities and leading focused improvement efforts in your area. You will also analyze existing processes for cost savings, reliability, and performance improvement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and lead improvement projects to enhance process efficiency and productivity
  • Analyze and optimize process performance to reduce costs and improve quality
  • Collaborate with maintenance, controls, process, and quality personnel to develop and implement process improvements
  • Develop and maintain reports and presentations to communicate project results and findings to stakeholders
  • Provide training and mentoring to colleagues to support their development and growth

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • 2-5 years of plant operations experience
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize demands
