  • Core Responsibilities: Responsible for the upkeep, servicing, and restoration of various production and processing machinery within a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. This role also encompasses maintenance and repair of the facility's infrastructure.
  • Physical Requirements: The position necessitates a comprehensive range of physical activities including lifting, bending, twisting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and reaching. The role involves prolonged periods of walking and standing on concrete surfaces while equipped with steel-toed footwear.
  • Work Environment: Operates within an indoor manufacturing setting characterized by high noise levels and fluctuating temperatures. Compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) regulations is mandatory.
  • Key Duties: Execute preventive maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on machinery. Utilize both power and hand tools for maintenance tasks. Operate production equipment post-repair. Interpret blueprints and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
  • Performance Expectations: Ability to manage stress, work collaboratively with team members, and communicate effectively. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Prior experience in maintenance roles within a manufacturing context is advantageous. Competence in safely and efficiently repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems is essential.
