Key Responsibilities- Oversee the phlebotomy process, ensuring efficient and accurate blood collection
- Train and mentor phlebotomy staff, promoting a culture of excellence and quality
- Develop and implement processes to improve patient satisfaction and laboratory efficiency
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure seamless communication and workflow
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes
- 2+ years of phlebotomy experience, with a minimum of 1 year in a lead or supervisory role
- Phlebotomy certification (e.g., CLS, CLT, or MLT) and licensure (e.g., LPN or EMT)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
