Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Associate role serves as an entry-level position for new hires, whether they are entering the print industry for the first time or are new to CleanMark Labels. During the initial training period, new employees will undergo cross-training to familiarize themselves with CleanMark's operations and products, focusing on key areas such as Final Inspection, Rewinding, or Shipping & Receiving. This unique cross-training experience allows team members to understand how their roles interconnect with others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and a proactive approach as a team player, eager to learn new manufacturing processes and engage in ongoing process enhancements.
- Observe workflow to anticipate needs independently after training.
- Adapt to new computer systems relevant to the role.
- Exhibit basic math and measurement skills.
- Perform fundamental setups on machinery and tools.
- Identify issues and contribute to product quality and safety improvements.
- Conduct basic final quality inspections to meet QMS ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Maintain a strong work ethic, showcasing reliability, quality, safety, and communication skills.
- Initiate questions and pursue self-directed learning opportunities.
- Adhere to CleanMark Labels' established policies and procedures.
- Exhibit a team-oriented mindset and flexibility to work efficiently and accurately.
- Possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow instructions.
- Demonstrate conflict resolution skills and address issues appropriately.
- Maintain a positive and adaptable attitude, ready to assist with various tasks as needed.
- Prior exposure to manufacturing practices through work or education is preferred.
Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate degree in manufacturing, warehousing, or a related field is preferred.
