Housekeeping Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Springboard Hospitality. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms, corridors, elevators, and other assigned areas.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in hospitality or a similar establishment, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $22.77 per hour, based on industry standards and location in Kailua Kona, HI.
Responsibilities- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms, corridors, elevators, and other assigned areas.
- Strip beds, remove soiled linen, terry, and trash from guestrooms, and take them to the appropriate locations.
- Check under beds and sofas for debris, clean bedroom/closet area, and make beds.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors to ensure guest room areas, balconies, and hallways are free from debris.
- Dust furniture, lamps, headboards, pictures, planters, chimney, and chimney floor, and clean kitchen counters, cabinets, drawers, and refrigerators.
- Clean bathroom counters, floors, showers, and tubs.
- Report any missing or found articles, damage, or maintenance problems to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Prior experience in hospitality or a similar establishment.
