Concrete Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Administrator for our customer, County Prestress & Precast, LLC. This role is ideal for individuals with experience using Microsoft Office products and strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.

• Review purchase order requests for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with policies and corresponding requests for information, when required.
• Communicate timely confirmation of all purchase order requests and resolve any issues.
• Create and issue purchase orders or warehouse transfers from purchase order requests.
• Resolve purchase order discrepancies, including pricing, quantity, and shipping issues.
• Serve as a liaison between suppliers, internal requestors, and team members to ensure effective and timely processing of purchase order requests.
• Maintain accurate purchase order and vendor files.
• Coordinate with internal logistics personnel and third-party freight carriers to ensure complete and timely shipment and delivery.
• Review and process all receiving documents and resolve any errors.
• Collaborate with the Accounting department to ensure timely financial obligations are met.

• Experience using Microsoft Office products.
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills necessary to resolve purchasing issues.
• Negotiation skills.
• Interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and maintain superior customer service at all times.
• 3 plus years of purchasing experience preferred.

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
