Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team on a PRN night shift basis. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients, working within the nursing process to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Assume relief charge duties when designated, demonstrating clinical leadership and expertise.
  • Participate in educational programs, attend in-services, and engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to implement and document individualized care plans, incorporating age-specific considerations and discharge planning.
  • Administer medication, including IV medication, via the Seven Rights, and document and communicate clinical findings.
  • Assist with special tests and procedures, ensuring proper consent has been obtained, and participate in emergency measures as needed.
  • Deliver safe direct care to an assigned group of patients, ensuring that patient medical records contain necessary information.
  • Participate in orientation and assume precepting and evaluation responsibilities of new personnel, promoting a positive work environment and quality patient care.

* RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM

* TNCC and/or ENPC

Physical Conditions:
Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people. Chemicals, Bio Hazardous Materials req PPE
