Job Summary:

Mozaic Senior Life is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality care to our residents in a Long Term Care environment. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of our residents, working closely with our nursing team to deliver exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide basic nursing care and assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
  • Observe residents for any changes in their condition and report changes promptly to the charge nurse.
  • Document care and observations accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Follow standard precautions while delivering care and maintain a clean and organized resident area.
  • Participate in the care plan process and follow the resident's individual plan of care.
  • Respond to resident needs promptly and maintain cooperative relationships with colleagues.
  • Contribute to positive resident and family relationships.
  • Follow facility policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Participate in educational and in-service meetings to update knowledge of techniques, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Successfully complete Clinical Competencies for Certified Nursing Assistants.

Requirements:

Education:
High School Diploma or GED

Experience:
6 months - 1 year experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a Long Term Care environment preferred

Licensure:
CT C.N.A. Certification

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile residents within the facility.

Ability to handle multiple demands and deadlines; Ability to read and communicate effectively; Ability to utilize various software packages to carry out position responsibilities.
