Key Responsibilities

This position requires assisting skilled sheet metal mechanics in various tasks, including fabrication, installation, and maintenance of sheet metal products and systems. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Main Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Reading and Interpreting Documents: Assist in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
  • Metal Fabrication and Assembly: Lay out, measure, and mark sheet metal materials using appropriate tools and techniques. Support the fabrication and assembly of sheet metal products, including ductwork, fittings, and architectural elements.
  • System Installation and Maintenance: Install sheet metal systems, such as HVAC ductwork and ventilation systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. Maintain existing sheet metal systems and repair as needed.
  • Safety and Housekeeping: Handle and transport sheet metal materials, equipment, and tools safely and efficiently. Keep a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
  • Team Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with team members and communicate challenges or issues to the supervisor.

Compensation Package

The estimated salary range for this position is $45,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer competitive benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
