Barista Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Barista to join our team at BIGGBY COFFEE. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and exceptional customer experience while preparing high-quality beverages and food items.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cashiering and Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Drink Preparation: Operate espresso and coffee equipment to prepare a variety of drinks, including coffee, espresso, and specialty beverages.
  • Food Production: Prepare bagels and bagel sandwiches to meet customer demands.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including the coffee bar, equipment, and surrounding areas.
Requirements:
  • Physical Demands: Able to comfortably lift 20 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Communication: Effective communication with managers and colleagues regarding challenges and concerns.
  • Availability: Must be able to work at least one shift on the weekends and have reliable transportation.
