About the Role:

Futures Consulting, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in a design and development capacity. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating construction drawings for commercial properties, including strip retail centers, restaurants, apartments complexes, medical hospitals/facilities, and single-family homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform drainage calculations, including preparation of drainage area maps and hydraulic analysis for storm drains.
  • Create grading plans with proper slope tolerances across the site that are acceptable to the appropriate jurisdiction and regulations.
  • Design site utilities including water and sewer design.
  • Use AutoCAD Civil 3d to produce design drawings for construction plans, including using pipe networks and civil 3d tools to design utilities and grading for sites.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Two years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3d and related software.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
