As a Food Service Worker-Retail, you will play a vital role in our Food & Nutrition Department, ensuring that our retail areas operate smoothly and efficiently.

Work Schedule: Per Diem

Shifts: Day/Evening shifts with weekend and holiday rotation; typical hours include 6:00am - 2:30pm, 9:30am - 3:00pm, and 3:30pm - 7:30pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of all retail stations, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are met.
  • Maintain equipment and food surfaces, adhering to strict cleaning protocols.
  • Ensure proper labeling, dating, and rotation of food items prior to storage or display.
  • Utilize appropriate utensils to guarantee accurate portion sizes.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Manager of Food & Nutrition Services.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to comprehend and follow written instructions.
  • Prior experience with food safety and sanitation practices is preferred.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or qualify for an exemption.
