Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods between two points, typically within a local area.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring that it is properly secured and protected during transit.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of hours worked, fuel consumption, and other relevant data.
  • Communicate with dispatchers and other drivers to coordinate routes and schedules.
