Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishroom Attendant to join our team at Charles Schwerd Restaurants. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, ensuring the highest standards of sanitation and hygiene in our dishroom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wash and sanitize tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment to the highest standards.
  • Operate and maintain the dishwasher, reporting any issues to the Kitchen Manager.
  • Monitor water temperature to ensure a sanitary wash cycle.
  • Restock and maintain adequate levels of clean tableware and supplies.
  • Sort and remove trash, and clean garbage cans.
  • Assist with cleaning food preparation and production areas as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to meet guest needs and support restaurant operations.
Requirements
  • No prior restaurant experience required.
  • Ability to work in a hot, wet, and humid environment for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with kitchen staff.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to professional growth and development.
