Kable Staffing is seeking a dedicated Industrial Maintenance Technician. This role offers a full-time, direct hire opportunity within a dynamic work environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at various client sites.
- Participate in an on-call service rotation, providing after-hours support as needed.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic issues on-site.
- Conduct post-repair evaluations to confirm the functionality of safety features.
- Document findings and suggest corrective measures, including safety notifications for clients.
- Advise clients on repair and safety matters, recommending improvements for material handling.
- Create electronic documentation using company systems, ensuring client signatures are obtained.
- Stay informed about industry standards and regulations (OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, HMI).
- Accurately complete service reports and other necessary documentation in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with the Field Operations Manager and Service Coordinator in accordance with established protocols.
- Maintain company-issued tools, vehicles, and equipment in optimal condition.
- Utilize tools and equipment responsibly, reporting any deficiencies to the supervisor.
- Adhere to established safety protocols and customer guidelines.
- Engage in monthly safety meetings.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
- High School Diploma is required; an Associate degree in Industrial Electrical and/or Mechanical Technology or a related field is preferred, or equivalent vocational/technical training and experience.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair is necessary.
- Some electronic experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Previous experience with cranes is advantageous but not essential.
