Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Lexington, Massachusetts.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Med Surg department. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and educating patients and families on health-related topics.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- One year medical/psychiatric experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills to use electronic or online systems for communication, clinical, and administrative purposes.
