Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Sherwin-Williams. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with customers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty
  • Build trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers, understanding their needs and presenting appropriate products and services
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Meet and exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, maintaining a strong understanding of products and services
  • Maintain precise work order files and formulas, ensuring accurate inventory management
  • Pull and stock products from the sales floor or warehouse, maintaining a clean and organized store environment
  • Tint and mix products to customer specifications, ensuring quality and accuracy
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, assisting with deliveries as needed
  • Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas, ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Remain knowledgeable on products offered, discussing available options and making recommendations
  • Comply with inventory control procedures, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing waste
  • Suggest ways to improve sales, contributing to the growth and success of the team
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English and Spanish
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
  • Have at least a High School diploma or GED
  • Have at least one year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
  • Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
  • Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
