About the Opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is seeking seasonal Dishwashers to join our team at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan.

As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our guests by maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and food and beverage serving areas.

Responsibilities
  • Clean dishes, glassware, pots, pans, flatware, and kitchen items using hands or a dishwasher, ensuring all sanitizer levels on dish machines and pot sinks meet health standards.
  • Store clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in a clean and organized manner.
  • Clean the work area, including equipment, floors, walls, and cooking area, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen wares storage area.
  • Remove trash from the dish room and transport it to the dumpster, and clean and sanitize the garbage cans.
Qualifications
  • Ability to understand and follow directions.
  • Capacity to work cooperatively with others.
  • No experience required.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to carry up to 60 lbs, placing items above and below head height.
  • Standing, walking, bending for the duration of the shift, occasionally pushing and pulling to move equipment, mops, and brooms.
  • Exposed to variable temperatures and damp environments.
Shift Details

Day shift, evening shift, event-based, overtime as needed, and weekends.
