Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Loan Servicing Specialist to join our team at Kennebec Savings Bank.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Loan Maintenance: Perform maintenance on all types of loans, following established procedures. Conduct research as necessary and review reports for loan accuracy.
  • Real Estate Tax Processing: Coordinate timely real estate tax payments according to established procedures. Review loan accounts to determine property taxes due and establish escrow accounts as applicable.
  • Insurance Processing: Monitor hazard/homeowners insurance coverage on all mortgage loans. Process Forced Order Hazard (FOH) insurance policies and verify insurance compliance with Bank requirements.
Requirements:
  • Education/Experience: High school graduate with 3 years' experience in mortgage or commercial servicing preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with loan processing systems desirable.
Additional Requirements:
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift files and documents up to 20 pounds and spend extended periods working at a computer.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and listening skills with the ability to respond to customer inquiries promptly.
