The Advanced Practice Provider will be responsible for caring for patients within their scope of training and approved agreement. They will collaborate with providers and staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high patient satisfaction.


Medical Care:



  • Performs complete health histories, reviews patient records, and develops comprehensive medical assessments
  • Formulates medical and nursing diagnoses and institutes therapy or referrals
  • Institutes emergency measures and emergency treatment in situations such as cardiac arrest, shock, hemorrhage, convulsions, poisoning, and allergic reactions
  • Interprets and analyzes patient data to determine patient status, patient management, and treatment
  • Provides instructions and guidance regarding health care and health care promotion to patients/family/significant others

Additional Responsibilities:



  • Sees both pediatrics and adults
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Works every Saturday

Requirements:



  • Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family
  • DOT certified
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certified - (with 1 yr ER/UC experience preferred)
  • Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate, as required
  • Able to multi-task and work independently
