About the Role:
The Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring the school's mission, vision, and values are upheld while providing strategic oversight and guidance on operations, finances, and student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in developing and approving school policies, strategic plans, and annual goals.
- Ensure the school complies with applicable laws, regulations, and charter agreements.
- Collaborate with Concept Schools, a non-profit charter management organization, who provides comprehensive academic, financial, and operational services.
Qualifications:
- Passion for public education and commitment to Horizon Science Academy Davenport's mission.
- Experience or expertise in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:
