Job Overview:

Under the supervision of the Radiologist, the CT Imaging Specialist is responsible for conducting computerized tomography scans across various body regions to aid medical personnel in identifying abnormalities.

This role encompasses the responsibilities and tasks associated with Radiology Technologists as designated.

The position necessitates delivering care/services to a diverse patient demographic, ranging from critically ill pediatric to geriatric patients, while demonstrating an understanding of their functional and developmental age.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one year of experience in CT preferred.
  • Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish) are advantageous.
  • An EEO/AA Employer M/F/V/D. Tobacco-Free Campus.
  • Experience is essential; candidates with some CT experience may be considered for cross-training to achieve ARRT registry.
  • ARRT (CT) registry is not mandatory; however, ARRT (R) is required, with CT Tech experience necessary for consideration.

Education Requirements:
Associate Degree or Vocational School Graduate from an accredited School of Radiology.

Licensure/Certification:
State of Florida HRS General Radiography license required.
Current BCLS-C certification is necessary.
ARRT certification (Radiographer and CT) is required or must be obtained within six months.
