Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Health Advocates Network - Midwest. As a travel RRT, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of recent acute care experience and be certified as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). You will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients, including assessing their needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions to improve their respiratory health.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy
  • Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans to improve respiratory health
  • Implement interventions to improve patient outcomes, including medication administration and respiratory therapy
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care
  • Document patient information and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program
  • At least 2 years of recent acute care experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensure in applicable state (MO)
  • American Heart Association BLS and ACLS for Health Care Providers
  • Additional certifications may be required
