Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Pico Rivera, California.

Job Summary:

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for administering radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously to detect or treat diseases, using radioisotope equipment. You will also perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, coordinate patient flow, and maintain procedure quality control.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously to detect or treat diseases.
  • Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation.
  • Coordinate patient flow and maintain procedure quality control.
  • Prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies.
  • Document all pertinent information regarding radioactive materials and surveys.
Requirements:
  • Diploma/certificate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine: Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in nuclear medicine technology or equivalent: Preferred
  • State Nuclear Medicine License: Required in CA and HI
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine OR Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist: Required in CA and OR
  • Venipuncture certification: Required in CA and HI
