Industrial Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Janitor to join our team at NYX. As an Industrial Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment in our production facility.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain proper housekeeping throughout the plant, including sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing machine areas, midway, and aisles.
- Clean the lunchroom and restrooms, ensuring they are always tidy and well-stocked.
- Pick up trash from the production facility and ensure it is disposed of properly.
- Cover press operators during breaks and provide support as needed.
- Conduct regular visual checks for spills and messes, reporting any issues to management.
- Sweep the maintenance area and ensure it is free from debris.
- Pick up debris from the grounds and maintain the overall appearance of the facility.
- Have a basic knowledge of TS16949 and be familiar with the Quality Policy.
- Follow safety rules, report safety problems, and ensure all injuries are reported, regardless of severity.
- Ensure plant safety and 5S housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.
- Stock shelves with incoming maintenance supplies and maintain cleaning closet inventory.
- High School diploma or equivalency.
- Experience in cleaning production facilities is preferred.
