Job Overview

MaxFund Animal Adoption Center is seeking a qualified Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a key member of our veterinary staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality medical services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide medical care and treatment to animals under the supervision of a veterinarian
  • Assist with surgical procedures, including preparing patients, sterilizing equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized operating room
  • Administer medication, collect samples, and perform laboratory tests as needed
  • Communicate effectively with clients, veterinarians, and other staff members to ensure seamless patient care
  • Update patient records, review care plans, and perform other administrative duties as required
Requirements
  • 1 year of veterinary experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods
