Position Responsibilities and Requirements
The Respiratory Care Practitioner operates under the guidance of the Medical Director and Clinical Supervisor, adhering to established protocols and departmental policies. The therapist must possess the capability to evaluate, treat, and manage patients with both acute and chronic respiratory conditions. The individual will be equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver care across various patient demographics, including neonates, children, adults, and the elderly.

Qualifications:
Education:
· Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Care program.
Experience:
· Preferred minimum of one year of experience in a hospital setting.
Licensure/Certification:
· Certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care - CRT license.
· Current BCLS certification.
· ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications may be required within a specified timeframe post-hire.
· Valid license to practice respiratory care in Texas.
