Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Generate a positive and friendly atmosphere in the Players Club, promoting a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests.
  • Identify and greet guests, providing personalized service and assistance as needed.
  • Process new player cards and ensure accuracy of information inputted into our Player Tracking System.
  • Ensure customer needs are met in a timely fashion, promoting excellent customer service and positive public relations.
  • Promote excellent customer service, positive public and employee relations, and a neat and clean appearance at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including attending periodic meetings and training sessions.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED plus one (1) year customer service or related experience.
  • Excellent PC, communication, and delegation skills.
  • Ability to work in a smoke-filled environment and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 15lbs and work in a fast-paced, high-volume, noisy environment with multiple distractions.
  • Ability to analyze situations and handle them in a calm and rational manner.
  • Ability to represent the Casino in a professional manner, building respect and confidence with guests and colleagues.

Tribal Preference Policy:

Members of the Jena Band of Choctaw Tribe shall be given absolute preference with respect to hiring, promotions, training, contracting, and separation from employment. For persons who meet the minimum qualifications, preferential treatment shall be based on the following criteria and shall be given in the following order:

  • Enrolled members of the Jena Band of Choctaw tribe who satisfy the minimum job qualifications;
  • Spouses of enrolled members of the Jena Band of Choctaw who satisfy the minimum job qualifications;
  • Enrolled members of other recognized tribes who satisfy the minimum job qualifications;
  • Military Veterans;
  • All others who satisfy the minimum job qualifications.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 15lbs.
  • Able to stand and walk the property for the entire shift.
  • Ability to listen to customer concerns and make reasonable decisions based on company policies and procedures.
  • Able to analyze situations and handle in a calm and rationale manner.
  • Keep a flexible work schedule.
  • Present oneself in a neat and clean appearance at all times.
  • Work in a fast-paced, high volume, noisy environment with multiple distractions.
  • Present oneself with an outgoing personality and body language that indicates a Guest Services oriented person who is welcoming and friendly at all times.
