About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced financial analyst to contribute to our fast-growing private equity-backed manufacturing and distribution company. This role will work closely with the FP&A manager to create insightful dashboards in BI utilizing SQL. The analyst will play a crucial role in preparing financial packages and analyses for senior management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough analysis of business and financial data, focusing on variances to plans and previous periods.
  • Develop financial models to support decision-making processes within the organization.
  • Prepare financial plans and reports for leadership review.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly board presentations, including supporting analyses and commentary.
  • Participate in M&A due diligence efforts.
  • Analyze industry trends and provide recommendations based on findings.
  • Evaluate capital expenditure proposals.
  • Create automated reporting and forecasting tools to enhance data efficiency.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
  • Gain exposure to treasury functions and other opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of systems analysis methods and principles related to big data analysis.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of databases and data integrity management.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of two years of professional experience as a financial analyst or data analyst.
  • Proficient in Excel with a solid understanding of its functionalities.
  • Experience with PowerBI, SQL, or other data analytics tools is essential.
  • Experience in treasury operations is advantageous.
  • Experience in private equity is a plus.
