Position Overview:
The Lead .Net Software Engineer will play a pivotal role in the development of our client's Sports Platform Team, which is dedicated to creating robust APIs and tools for various sports and media brands. This position involves the design and implementation of sports betting solutions and backend processes within a comprehensive Digital Sports workflow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect, develop, and deploy scalable and dependable cloud-based software solutions.
  • Collaborate with a team of engineers to deliver high-quality software.
  • Engage in software development projects utilizing Agile methodologies and tools.
  • Serve as the technical expert for one or more prominent sports statistics systems.
  • Address monitoring, security, and maintainability requirements.
  • Identify and resolve bugs, security vulnerabilities, and operational challenges.
  • Work alongside a talented team of developers to elevate the team's performance.
  • Assume technical and support ownership of assigned projects.

Time Allocation:
  • Business Collaboration: 20%
  • Technical Design, Configuration, & Development: 60%
  • Technical Support: 20%

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development using modern technologies.
  • Proven senior-level experience as a full-stack software developer.
  • Expertise in .NET and React Web.
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS), SQL, and relational databases (PostGres).
  • Familiarity with GraphQL.
  • Experience in queueing and the production/consumption of REST APIs.
  • Design skills focused on Availability, Reliability, Scalability, Maintainability, and Security.
  • Self-motivated and capable of navigating challenges independently.
  • Open to discussions and consensus-building.
  • Strong teamwork and communication abilities, with knowledge of Agile development practices.
