We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Body Radiologist to join our team at the Department of Veteran Affairs. As a key member of our healthcare system, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to our nation's veterans.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret advanced body MRI images and provide expert diagnoses
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and contribute to the development of treatment plans
- Collaborate with diagnostic radiology residents from the University of California, Irvine, to provide education and training
- Contribute to the Lung Cancer Screening Program by interpreting low-dose CT scans
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Radiology with a focus on Advanced Body Imaging
- Completion of a Body Imaging fellowship program
- Current, full, and unrestricted medical license from any state or U.S. territory
- U.S. Citizenship
- Competitive starting annual salary: $350,000-$400,000
- Performance Pay: Receive up to $15,000 in additional annual performance pay
- Proficiency Award: Eligible in addition to Pay for Performance
- Regular Increases: Receive cost of living increases annually and salary reviews and longevity increase every two years
- Education Debt Reduction Program Eligible (Reimbursement Program, Pay off your school debt Tax free)
- Annual Leave (Paid Time Off): You will receive 208 hours or approximately 26 days of annual leave a year
- Paid Parental Leave: Up to 12 additional weeks per 12-month period
- Liability Protection: VA physicians are covered under federal tort laws and may be defended by the United States against allegations of malpractice or negligence
