Catholic Charities of Central Washington is seeking a highly qualified professional to serve as our Medical Director of Behavioral Health. About the Position:

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate leader who can oversee the day-to-day operations of our medical staff, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and quality patient care. As our Medical Director of Behavioral Health, you will be responsible for implementing policies and procedures that promote excellence in medical practice.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the coordination of daily operations of medical staff, including medical assistants, nurses, and nurse practitioners.
  • Implement clinical standards and protocols to ensure quality care delivery and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote excellence in medical practice.
  • Collaborate with the North Central Director of Behavioral Health and Crisis to develop and implement policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to medical staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Mentor and supervise medical staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
  • Ensure accuracy of psychiatric diagnoses and assessments conducted by mental health staff.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance of medical staff, providing regular feedback and coaching.

Requirements:

  • ARNP, MD, or DO and Psychiatric Board Certification required.
  • Minimum of one year experience with direct patient care in psychiatric services required.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role highly preferred.

Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $195,000 - $225,000 per year.
  • Sign-on Bonus: $30,000 - $40,000 paid out in 4 installments.
  • Relocation Reimbursement: Up to $5,000.
  • Benefits package includes medical, dental, FSA, 403(b) retirement, additional voluntary benefits, paid holidays, vacation/sick leave, education assistance program, employee assistance program, longevity awards.
