Position Overview

The Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist plays a crucial role in the field of diagnostic imaging, utilizing advanced techniques to perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures.

Certification Requirements
  • NMTCB: Nuc Med Technology Cert Board (Mandatory)
  • RT(R)(N): Registered Technologist (R) (N) (Mandatory)
  • BLS: Basic Life Support (Preferred)
Job Responsibilities
  • Specialty: Diagnostic Imaging
  • Work Hours: 7 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Conduct a comprehensive range of nuclear medicine procedures requiring specialized knowledge and skills.
  • Provide training and orientation for both senior and junior nuclear medicine technologists.
  • Perform a diverse array of nuclear medicine tasks, including nuclear cardiology, clinical imaging, gastrointestinal imaging, thyroid imaging, and SPECT imaging.
  • Execute quality control for pharmaceuticals and instruments.
  • Maintain accurate records for compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Act as a resource for staff, physicians, and other healthcare personnel.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
  • Non-Degree Program: Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiology or Nuclear Medicine program (Required)
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Nuclear Medicine (Required)
  • Supervisory Experience: General experience in overseeing others (Preferred)
Schedule Information

Shift: 7 AM to 3:30 PM
