We are seeking a highly skilled Epic Analyst to join our team at North Oaks Medical Center. As an Epic Analyst, you will be responsible for the design, build, and maintenance of designated Epic applications, as well as providing training and support to end-users.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain designated Epic applications in all designated environments.
- Organize and prioritize application build activities in collaboration with I.T. department leadership and respective department leadership throughout the health system.
- Understand applicable hardware integration concepts and identify potential integration opportunities and/or issues.
- Assist with ensuring participation of the appropriate clinical and non-clinical stakeholders in build activities.
- Interface with applicable leadership and/or other subject matter experts as needed and gain a comprehensive understanding of workflows and end-user needs.
- Proactively maintain competency and continue to take advantage of learning opportunities in application(s) correlated to role.
- Attend training and successfully complete related projects and tests in order to obtain and maintain applicable certification(s) and/or skills.
- Provide expert demonstration of system functionality as necessary.
- Serve as application support and subject matter expert and provide resolution for issues.
- Represent and serve as North Oaks liaison to EMR vendors and/or other third parties.
- Document and accurately report status and progress of assigned deliverables to I.T. leadership and to others as may be directed.
- Complete all work as assigned within timeline expectations and with a high level of work product quality.
- 1 year of Revenue Cycle experience related to billing, patient access, or HIM.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including strong Excel skills.
- High aptitude for review and comprehension of technical information.
- Excellent communication skills (e.g. public speaking, meeting facilitation and presentations).
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment.
- Must be able to multi-task and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Thorough understanding of HIPAA and other applicable regulatory requirements.
